How I wish it was Skullgirls or (especially) Third Strike that was #2 on that list! Oh well.

EDIT: Also, to be more on-topic, I think this is a good change, and probably what should have happened in the first place. Having an unreleased/unfinished game be a (potential) main feature at Evo was just a horrible idea.

Man, if I just scrounge up a few thousand dollars I could easily get Brawl to the top of that list.

Update:

FIM has been pulled from the race, but can still get donations, it just won't be used in EVO this year. Due to them believing that having a deadline for Mane6 to make the game playable presents a challenge

Happy to hear this. It's a shame how quickly Skullgirls kind of fell off the radar after it was released when Mike Z clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the game.

If she summons two birds that circle around her and spit seeds at the opponent each time she presses an attack button, then to hell with Applejack, I'ma main Fluttershy.

EDIT: I might just main her anyway. That setup at 0:55 LOOKS like an unblockable. I dunno if the devs have said if there were supposed to be unblockables or not in this game, but if there are, then it looks like Fluttershy has at least one.

Fluttershy doesn't seem to do a whole lot of damage, which makes since, Fluttershy is not a fighter.

I guess once fans and troll found out that even if it won it wouldn't be in the 8th spot, they figured to not bother, and just get Melee in. Because they miss their L cancels and Wave dashes.
