My first ever published review!

I really wanted to write a Halloween special for Digimon Crusaders but i couldn't think of anything.
 

Saw the new Korra, and quality-wise it was pretty much what I thought it would be. The episode is animated by Studio Pierrot instead of Studio Mir, and the difference in quality compared to "The Beginning" is huge. Characters don't really emote. They just stand there with one facial expression throughout the entire scene.

Quality of animation aside, I think that the episode as a whole is a bit better than what we got before "The Beginning". Maybe it's just because some of the story's threads are finally beginning to converge a bit more, but I think the writing was better this episode than most of the ones previous.

I hear rumors about Studio Mir animating the rest of the season, if those rumors are true, then at least we'll get to see some beautiful animation with the kind-of-okay writing for several more episodes.

Well you know already I got a review published, but I was also having issue with my Slim PS3 reading discs, seems to work now that I used compressed air in the disc drive.

Yeah, that is seriously very cool that you got published. Major props for you, Kungfu.

Yeah, the problem came back. Luckily I can just return it and replace it with another 320, one that'll hopefully not crap itself with reading discs.

I'd just have to wait 5 hours, probably, to have everything transferred over again

EDIT: Apparently I watched all the way up to the end of the Korra season finale online, which MAAAAY have not actually been aired on TV quite yet! So don't click on my spoilers in this post unless you've seen it all the way to the very end of season two!

Just saw Korra's season finale. I'm pleasantly surprised, but it actually held up really well, I thought. There were a few hokey moments that felt like they came out of nowhere, like when

but most of the loose ends were tied up well enough. And even though I'd been complaining about Bolin for this entire season, he became a LOT better during the finale. He's actually CONTRIBUTING, finally! And he's finally become less of a stupid fucking idiot for the finale, unlike what he was for most of this season for some stupid contrived reasons. For the remainder of the series, I hope they write him more like in season one where he actually has half a goddamn brain and contributes to the main plot.

I think it adds a lot of possibilities to shake up the Avatar universe as we know it, and there could be some cool storylines that result. Definitely looking forward to season 3's storyline.

Oh, and of course, the animation gets an A+ from me. Beautiful scenery, amazing choreography, thrilling action scenes.
