Nah, I just could observe within my family what even something relatively harmless like weed can actually do to people if they can't control themselves. My brother was like he had Alzheimer's for a while. So naturally I'm a little... skeptical.

That said, I do enjoy getting hammered occasionally.

If it was up to me, weed would be illegal.

^ Nah, in the end it's not really much worse than alcohol or cigarettes.

1. One or two drinks and any number of cigarettes don't impair your thinking and judgement skills

2. Weed is way worse for your lungs than cigarettes

Never heard of someone getting drunk from one or two beers, unless they had a really low alcohol tolerance or something. It's when people binge drink that issues arrive.

Weed has four times as much tar as cigarettes. That's unhealthy regardless of whether your using a filter.

There is a reason as to why it is forbidden to drive cars with more than 0.5 per mill (at least here, I don't know where the limit is for you), which is usually already almost reached after 1 small beer.
As a matter of fact, I already feel it when I have drunk one small beer, it's not like I'm drunk or anything, but I definitely feel something. And it doesn't take much more until I realise that I'm actually thinking slower if that makes any sense (edit: yes, I have relatively low tolerance, since I'm very light)
And I could also say "no one gets high from one puff on a joint". Point is, if people WANT to get drunk, they'll binge drink, if they WANT to get high, they'll smoke a joint. Just because it takes more than 2 beers to cloud you doesn't mean alcohol is any better, if people want to get "clouded" it doesn't really matter how they do it (except if they take something that makes you addicted like instantly - which both alcohol and weed don't do).

And then, alcohol is ALSO unhealthy. Just not for your lungs.

Now, I don't smoke weed because I find the smell absolutely disgusting (same with cigs, but to a lesser degree). But I really don't think it's more harmful than those "legal drugs", especially cause it usually isn't consumed quite as frequently as those.

Edit: Alcohol is also a way more popular drug. If anything, that one is the bigger problem than weed.
