So much rage coming from "fans" of Bayonetta, they should be happy it exists since sega cancelled it and nintendo pretty much saved it so bravo Nintendo, consider me a person that will get a Wii U (not day 1 though)

My first reaction o hearing that as a WiiU exclusive was this.

Mine too, but then I remembered that sega cancelled it a while ago and it was cool having nintendo save it, I wonder why Sony or Microsoft didn't jump at the chance to make it exclusive.

There's also news of a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon being released on the 3DS in December in Japan.


I couldn't find any other images except from memebase. It seems to be in full 3D not like the other ones...

I think SEGA's not doing too well financially and is sticking to publishing low-risk games it knows will sell (Sonic). I thought I read someone saying that Platinum and/or SEGA had shopped Bayonetta 2 to Microsoft and Sony, but I don't think either were interested.

Now that Nintendo's picked up the game, though, all three companies involved are going to benefit. Platinum will get to make Bayonetta 2, SEGA will get a cut of the profits without taking on any risk, and Nintendo will get an awesome exclusive.

Nintendo's really done an awesome job working with 3rd parties for the Wii U. They're not only getting awesome multi-plat titles, but also getting third party exclusives and publishing some 3rd party games themselves. They're giving the hardcore gamer reason to not just own, but need a Wii U, and it's going to pay off in spades.

I only played partway through the first Mystery Dungeon, but this one is piquing my interest.

I played through one of the DS ones and enjoyed it a lot. I might be interested in this new one but I don't have a 3DS.
