I didn't think I was going to get into monster hunter, I saw a few youtubers I enjoy watching start to play 4g it looked like a lot of fun, then I tried out the demo kungfu gave me again (thanks again for that) I really got into it this time, beat two of the monsters so far on beginner and intermediate really enjoy using the long sword, I think I'm going to pre order it.

haha nice, but in the beginning you will need to grind a little so don't be discourage

Knew their would be grinding but the monsters are so fun to fight.

damn it my MH4 copy is going to arrive on the 17th

I'm still in the air with my order for the Majora's Mask themed 3DS. Nothing saying it's been canceled, as some have been reporting.

EDIT: Just updated to being ready to be shipped.

Ordered MH4 for in store pick up, I'm so ready to slay monsters.

At least Best Buy shipped my Majoras Mask Limited Edition, but still not picking up a N3DS XL still holding out they'll release the regular one here ..... hopefully.

Ugh. Lousy best buy won't ship my item. It's the day it comes out, you'd think they'd have it at the ready by now, other people have had theirs shipped now and I live in the same goddamned state as them.

I know how you feel, my MMLE is stuck in preparing order limbo while my brother's copy was delivered man what's the hold up best buy???

EDIT: Apparently, according to Jessica at customer service, mine is part of a special lot of 3DS' that is having issues being shipped and they're waiting for additional units from the manufacturer before performing a mass shipment, and they're looking into overnight shipping as well to try and make it by the 19 date of delivery. Also that about 500 units are on hold, but according to her 415 were canceled.

EDIT 2: Finally it's been shipped, so its on the way now.

This is why you don't announce special editions for a highly requested game one month before their release date.

It arrived! The games I got last week

EDIT: Man I was scared for a moment, when I finished the data transfer (pc method), next to nothing was there, none of my downloaded games, save data, Mii plaza puzzles and games, nearly everything, but thanks to two members on gamefaqs talking me through the process and through a hail mary pass of a mover, everything was finally fixed.

Me and my bro's stuff arrives tomorrow... I hope

time for side quests and online quests

I've gotten up to midway, I assume, of three star quest. Right now I have to to my first Capture in the game and I hate doing those.

I love capturing monsters but not capture quest

What's the sure fire easy way to do it? I hear it's wait till it limps and goes off to sleep, then plant the trap one side of it as it's sleeping then kick it into it and lob tranqs at it.

always bring 2 traps and 5 tranquilizers 

breaking parts is a good way to tell how weak it is but be careful you can still kill them before breaking it

when they go to sleep that is your chance but don't kick them just throw a tanq

The stupid Gendrome wouldn't go to sleep, even when I went off to find it and wasted time hoping it'd fall asleep, after it started limping, it was still up and wearing to fight.
