Episode Discussion #1: Nigel Thornberry narrates MLP

it was a ok episode. felt like a season 1 episode so take that as you will.

I liked it, Trender was likable, unlike Blue blood, and Rarity as a country bumpkin was cute, and Applejack was pretty cool, plenty of stupid sexy Applejack moments.

actually watched this one. it was ok. trender's a dork and so is rarity for trying to be a redneck like applejack. it was weird seeing twilight with wings, i assume there's a reason for it. maybe discord killed pinkie pie and twilight got so mad she sprouted wings.

another equestria girls movie? oh im sure this will go great with the remaining original fans that didnt leave after the EQ movie. but hey at least it isnt about prom shit i guess. but it will probably go to another troupe for the story.

Oh good. More music. Couldn't make it through the entire clip. Also I still can't get over how freaky the characters look when they are like that.

yea its just i feel like they could do more with EG than having it just be a movie. it could stand as a series on its own. hell the series could just be about sunset shimmer learning to be a better friend or something. this movie just feels odd to me and the designs are so all over the place that you cant say that much. im interested in seeing where the movie will go but i hope hope its not as troupey or whatever as the first movie.

oh yea according to a Hasbro's investors panel, pony is good for another 5 years (not sure if they said show or popularity)

I really liked this episode, one of my favorites this season, as a guy who gets stage fright I know how Fluttershy would feel.

yea this is now my favorite Fluttershy eps

this is probably the best fluttershy ep next to hurricane fluttershy ep. it was great because it didnt rely heavily on typical plot structure. and the jokes were great. pinkie though was kind of a dick though but an entertaining dick lol.

Voiced changed as in her VA has hit puberty or they replaced her VA with a new one?

VA hit puberty

you can tell because her voice is not breaking so frequently as it did before, but when it does it still sounds the same
