Not good if people keep buying casual and phone games, Sony is probably the only one trying to make games for core games, nintendo is in that sweet spot with casual and core gamers, Microsoft went full on casual and PC just keeps bringing out those indie hits.

"Earlier this month, a mysterious game called Yaiba was announced by Keiji Inafune. The game is not just an Inafune title. It's a Ninja Gaiden title.

As previously stated, Yaiba focuses on "action", "ninja" and "mecha". The game is being developed by Team Ninja and California-based dev Spark as a brand new Ninja Gaiden series. The game's main character is named "Yaiba" and he is chasing after Ninja Gaiden hero Ryu Hayabusa. The game is titled Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.

Inafune said this is a game that he really wants to make.

Although Inafune said a few years ago that the Japanese game industry was dying, he now said that he wants this game to be proof that the industry is alive and kicking.

The game is under development, but there's no ETA on its release. It is slated for consoles."

"During the Tokyo Game show today, Square Enix revealed that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is coming to PlayStation 3. The collection will include the original Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days in HD, all with trophy support.

The collection includes the “Final Mix” version of Kingdom Hearts and is scheduled to be released in Japan next year. For now, no European or North American release has been announced, but we’ll update if we hear any more info."

By the way you gotta love it that
- classic MM is shown 3 times
- X is shown 3 times (X4, X6, and X3 versions)
- Geo is shown 2 times (SF1 and SF3 versions)
also this is very odd.. model ZX is omitted entirely. They show model X instead. I guess it's because this way everyone is blue. ZX still appears in the official artwork though.
Also I just noticed that Volnutt is omitted entirely.. even though is blue. I don't know what to make of it.

EA has announced All three Mass Effect games will be available for the price of one when EA releases the Mass Effect Trilogy compilation on November 6th, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PC. The collection marks the first time that the original Mass Effect—which was released as an Xbox 360 exclusive—will be playable on the PlayStation 3. According to EA's press release, the PS3 version will be out at a later date.

Seriously, I'd rather have publishers wait at least 2 gens before doing this sort of thing, but bundling a game that came out this gen? Seriously?

Heck, I didn't even like how Sony bundled and re-released last-gen games like God of War, Sly Cooper, and Ratchet and Clank (Shouldn't I just be able to buy them as PS2 games and play them on my PS3? Oh wait, you screwed up backwards compatibility on your system.) But releasing a series of games that came out this gen as a bundle? That's just greed.

It's a sign of releasing too many games too frequently. Publishers need to give their franchises breathing room instead of milking them for everything they're worth. But no, all we care about these days are sequels. Sequels, sequels, sequels, sequels. Let's forget about trying something new for Pete's sake. Let's not bother with maybe alternating between which franchises we work on so things don't begin to stagnate. No, no, no. Let's just put the same people to work on the same franchises so we can put out at least one new game every two years. Good gosh.
