my thoughts
- Spoiler:
- It was nice to see Shining Armor and Cadence in an ep that isn't bad.
- Come to think of it this is also an ep where Luna's appearance actually made sense.
- I cringe through the musical numbers like I always do so I can't say whether they were good or bad, but I was moved by the one at the end.
- The villain creeping closer had me at the edge of my seat. And he seemed pretty evil to me, the citizens didn't even want to remember him. It was also the first time we saw pony slavery. For me the villain certainly fulfilled the criteria for evil.
- The ep had a good message.
- Even though it wasn't about them, we still got to see each of the mane six be their respective selves.
- good Spike episode.
- fair share of funny parts like the librarian
- Celestia's character was redeemed.
- RD jousting Knight Fluttershy reminded me of hearths warming eve. Also is it just me or does RD like to torment Fluttershy too often.

Not as much chaos as I expected from an army of Pinkie Pies, but enjoyable none the less. I was hoping to see what mayhem they were gonna cause to Rarity and Fluttershy.
