In some way yeah, he was referenced, to have been given up by Spike back to his parents, so that whole thing was totally pointless.

Great to see Tank finally come back, and to a hilarious degree of just being a Rainbow Crash pet.

I was kind of hoping the episode ended at the Crystal Kingdom since that's where the next episode or 2 takes place right?

Yeah, it's pretty disheartening. I thought Hasbro would remain pretty lax about this series, but I guess I was expecting too much. Hopefully, we'll never get a pony version of "poochie".
