Yeah, in hind sight this was not as good of an idea as I had thought. I mean, Maffi and Kungfu are the most deserving to be mods (they were part of the original founders of the faction over on GT), but there's really not responsibilities I can assign them for the time being that warrants them becoming mods.

Congratulations on being mods for about an hour Maffi and Kungfu. I promise that if I ever need mods in the future, you two will be my first picks!

Did some pony say they need a reason for mods to exist?

Aw man, great theme! I loves me some Paper Mario, though I haven't played Sticker Star. But that's also because I don't got a 3DS.

And yeah I was thinking for a minute there what modding would actually be like since, IIRC, we had a history of only two spammers in our whole history of, like, existing, and we don't have assholes in the community either. But thanks for the gesture/consideration anyways!

Some chaos...

Speaking of Discord; I've heard that someponies are not pleased that discord wasn't evil enough. First of all, Discord was never shown to be very evil in the original 2 episodes. He was just creating chaos. If he were evil, he would have just destroyed the ponies with a click of his claws. He wanted to disable their Elements hence the corruption and it was also done for his amusement.

Also, the biggest aspect of the episode is the fact that Discord was able to accomplish 2 very important things:

1. Make Fluttershy swear to never use her element against him
2. Destroyed all of Twilight's books that hold the spells that can banish him.

While he does promise to somewhat behave to Fluttershy and Celestia, the fact is he has officially made it impossible for the others to ever banish him again unless the others can convince Fluttershy to break her promise which could be something rather difficult. However, the most important thing is this:

He does not want to lose his friendship with Fluttershy and yet he is not pleased with having to "behave." If one thinks of it, all he needs to do is "behave" until Fluttershy passes away from old age and then he is free to cause as much chaos as he wants as he is immortal.

Hence Discord's episode had him showing a lot more thought in the future than some ponies may think...

Discord is heart broken
attempts to bring Fluttershy back from the dead
fails and learns a lesson from Celestia about letting things go...

He won't fail. He can bend reality which means he is probably capable of bringing the dead to life ^_^

And I personally think that Celestia knows her time is near an end considering she is prepping Twilight to take over.

You know, it's kind of disheartening to see stories about Twilight x Rainbowdash getting featured, or humans in equestria getting featured when they are a dime a dozen...

He can't bring people back from the dead, it's not a pretty picture, he doesn't like doing it!

I'm a mod now, neat, and I'll miss the Trixie theme, but the headers are cute, even got my favorite Background character June Bug

That's a surprising find.

GT lost 90% of its forum users after the update. There's not enough people there to raise a ruckus over it.

That is also true, shouldn't have gotten rid of the one thing people begged them not to get rid of.

Found out Nostalgic Critic is back pretty excited see him again.

I didn't think he needed to come back, he could've retired him for good and I would've been fine, it's his choice. Just dumb that apparently fans whined enough into pressuring him to returning
