No, I'm pretty sure I meant fighting games.

I spent like 7 minutes playing Street Fighter 3DS and could only pull of Fuerte Dynamite 50% off the time and Flying Giga Buster 0% of the time.

well there's the problem, you're playing on 3DS. play on a platform that allows you more precision controls, like PC, 360, PS3, etc. and get an arcade stick, a good gamepad, a hitbox, or something else like that. i'm imagining with the 3ds button layout and the godawful circle pad it's going to be hard to do anything.

also, getting good at execution is definitely something that you can't get good at in 7 minutes. like anything else worth doing, it takes practice to get good at.

Gas if you are terrible at execution, reading about it won't help, you need to actually practice it

Also don't choose Fuerte cuz he's got really high execution requirements

Also don't play on 3ds either because that is some hot garbage right there

edit: just finished reading the first 25 pages of the article, it's a p. good read if you don't understand some basic mechanics of fighting games.
